Nykaa SKINgenius Sculpting & Hydrating Foundation

How are you? I am finally working to get myself in routine, as I was really unwell from last few weeks so Im working hard to avoid these gaps in between my posts.  I have nykaa’s brand new skin genius foundation to review today!





Nykaa is going crazy with their launches, and it’s really difficult to keep up with them seriously!!! This foundation gained a lot of hype among big beauty bloggers, the properties it has and everything. The moment I saw the Nykaa Skin Genius Foundation, I knew I had to buy it, especially when it claims to be clever about coverage. It is very difficult to buy foundations online and with the limited shade options that it becomes difficult to buy foundations over the beauty counters as well, as the foundation get oxidise later on but if a product has the capability of adapting to your skin tone you don’t need to worry about going a tinge lighter or darker than your actual skin tone.
Let’s quickly get started.

PACKAGING:

The foundation comes in a very sleek and sturdy plastic packaging. It is very compact and can be easily slipped into your bag, which makes it great for travelling. It has a screw lid opening which secures the product nicely so there is no worry for spillage. The plastic tube comes in a coral pink cardboard box which has all the information mentioned about the product.

5 Shades || Light to Dark (Pure Ivory 01, Almond Beige 02, Warm Sand 03, True Tan 04, Golden Honey 05)
(I bought Warm Sand 03 that adapts to my skin tone due to clever color pigments but I think my shade is Almond Beige 02)

My Review Of The Nykaa Skin Genius Sculpting & Hydrating Foundation:

The packaging is not really fancy, it’s a basic plastic bottle with a black cap. When you unscrew the cap you will see that it has a flat nozzle, not even a pointed one, which I would have preferred because the foundation is quite runny in consistency and you can always go overboard if not careful.
The consistency reminds me of the Mac Face and Body Foundation. Because it’s thin and watery, you don’t really need any tool to apply this foundation, it blends so easily that your fingers can you do the job but if you don’t like it then go ahead with a foundation brush but not with a sponge blender because it will soak up most of the product.
It provides a sheer coverage and looks natural so if you are into a no-makeup-makeup zone then this will suit your needs. The second layer will build up the coverage but do not expect it to go opaque and hide imperfections. This foundation evens out the skin tone making your look skin look naturally radiant and healthy while covering or blurring minor flaws. The lasting power of 4 to 5 hours without a primer and it does not feel heavy or oxidise on me. About the Clever coverage, I think it is true if you go one shade lighter or darker. I bought the shade Warm Sand which is a tad bit dark for me but it matches perfectly to my skin tone after a while and does not look ashy on the darker areas of my face (under my eyes and around the mouth, neck). The shades seem to have a fair amount of yellow tone in them so they will go well with Indian skin tones. This foundation is hydrating so its great for people with dry to combination skin. The formula feels light on the skin and does not settle into the pores or fine lines.

WOULD I RECOMMEND IT?

Hell yes. (If coverage is not an issue.)

Today I shall be reviewing a unique product I came across on a popular website which I am very excited to share as it is something which many of you heard of.
I am talking about the Pee Safe Toilet Sanitizer.
Recently, I received a free sample of two neat products for review. These dealt with the main issue of hygiene.

Now back to the product  I shall be talking about. The product comes in a spray can which is grey and green in color and sealed just like your normal deodrant would do.Personal hygiene is a very important topic for me especially toilet etiquettes.At home our toilets are squeaky clean and germ free and I mean even the commode but sadly the situation is not the same when we go outside say a restaurant or when travelling by far distance trains in India. Sadly since it is a public loo many people would use it and the chances of it being infected by germs is pretty high. This product can of course be used anywhere but while travelling this is a must have. You need to spray this on the commode keeping a distance of 25 cm and wait for 5 seconds or so for it to get disinfected. It can also be used on handles and taps which you may use in public as they are also breeding ground for germs. It smells nice so it won't cause you a headache also.This is a must have product in my opinion for everyone.

Final Verdit........

I am highly impressed with this product and the website which stocks all your needs in terms of safety and hygiene. A public loo is always infested with germs hence this is a miracle product and a must have for everyone. Hence I highly recommend you to try this product.  I could hardly find any cons. My pee problems are sorted. And if you don’t want urine infections or STDs (yes, you can get these if you use public toilets) you should give it a try.

I am here with another highly requested review and to be honest I'm most excited to try this one out. I recently got my hands on Activated Charcoal Purifying Peel Off Mask by the brand HEALTH VIT, is all over the internet these days. Lets first talk about the brand itself.

About Activated Charcoal Purifying Peel Off Mask :

My Experience with Health Vit Activated Charcoal Purifying Peel Off Mask :

I was really excited to try this out as charcoal mask are tending these days aiming to removes all the blackheads and whiteheads.

The most important ingredient present in this mask is Activated Charcoal which is well known for drawing out all of the gunk, dirt and impurities from the face but does this mask claims what it says...?

The packaging of the product is very basic, nothing fancy about it. The peel-off mask is jet black in color and smells like some nail paint remover as an acetone. I really hate the smell of this product when i first apply this mask on my face.

Now, when I applied the peel-off mask on my face, it went on smoothly, and it dried-off in about 20 minutes. Now, lets come to the main task..... peeling it off was to be done. It’s not easy to peel-off this mask as it doesn’t come off in one go.... I literally had to scratch it off.  We can't peel the entire mask in a go. Though I tried it several times to see if it works or not, but no, the peel-off just didn’t work.

So I would suggest that if you have a very sensitive skin then this may not suit you. So after peeling off the entire mask, I still see some blackheads and whiteheads which means it didn’t work on them too but it did take away some of the excess oil from my face along with the dirt. It also cleansed my pores and made my skin soft and supple.

PROS :

• Makes the skin soft and gentle.

• Cleanse and tighten the pores.

• Take away all of the dirt and excess oil from the face.

CONS :

• Doesn’t remove blackheads and whiteheads.

• Didn’t peel-off easily.

• Smells pathetic.

OVERALL VERDICT :

Overall I'm happy with activated charcoal purifying peel off mask from health vit if you want to get rid of excess oil and dirt from the face and get a soft and gentle skin, though it doesn't remove the whiteheads and blackheads.

My Experience with Indulgeo Essentials 24K Pure Rose Gold Facial Oil

Packaging :

Indulgeo Essentials 24K pure rose gold facial oil comes in a cute blue coloured glass bottle with a dropper. Glass bottle is always safer to store any kind of beauty product than a plastic bottle.Overall, I loved the packaging. Travel-friendly and secure. There is a beautifully printed note inside the box by Supriya Malik, the owner of this amazing brand.
It has the perfect texture, neither oily nor dry. It absorbs like a dream into the skin leaving it glowing.As I have dry skin so it works wonder when I apply it daily as a moisturiser or under my makeup.
If you are a makeup freak like me, you must be aware of Farsali 24K Rose Gold facial oil. It is not available in India and is pretty expensive (around 5K). Although I haven't try that one but Indulgeo Essentials 24K gold oil is one of the amazing products I have tried.

How to apply?

- I love to apply it as a daily moisturiser just after cleansing and toning.- I use it as a makeup primer for smoother application.- I like to hydrate my lips with a drop of rose gold oil before applying matte lipstick to avoid flaky lips.- For that beautiful glow, I like to apply it on high points of my face before applying highlighter.

Overall Verdict :

Indulgeo Essentials 24K Pure Rose Gold Oil is great for all skin type to keep skin moisturised and hydrated. It has anti-aging properties which help in reducing the appearance of fine lines. I have been using this facial oil for over 2 weeks now and I am completely loving this. This has become my holy grail daily moisturiser. I can really feel an instant glow just after first use. My skin texture has improved. My dry patches around have healed. It does not break me out. It doesn't feel harsh or tingling on the skin.

Indulgeo Essentials have night facial oil and under eye oil also. I would definitely going to review that too . I am trying out these for last 3 weeks now and I am loving the results.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup Foundation Review and My Experience

The foundation comes in a rather heavy frosted glass bottle. Though the packaging of the product is heavy but it looks luxurious. If you want to carry it or travel with it, please be very careful. However I was quite disappointed that is does not come with a pump dispenser. Sometimes I end up pouring more product than what I need which leads to product wastage.

The texture of the foundation is quite thick with a very creamy and smooth texture. It blends easily but one has to be really fast in blending it out because it sets quickly and you may find it hard to blend it later.Now coming on to my favourite part about the Estee lauder foundation which is – coverage. This foundation gives medium to full coverage. It covers dark circles, marks, blemishes completely. I don’t even need a separate concealer.

Pros of Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup Foundation

1) true to its claims.

2) very long wearing.

3) provides medium to full coverage.

4) attractive packaging.

5) waterproof.

6) I do not need a separate concealer if I apply this foundation.

7) has an SPF 10.

8) photographs well.

Cons of Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup Foundation

1) expensive.

2) doesn’t comes with a pump. so leads to product wastage.

Now this foundation comes in 15 different shades. Price: Rs 3300/- for 30 ml
