Hello everyone! So today I will be reviewing a newly added product in my skincare routine.

Forest Essentials is a great brand to start out with for someone venturing into the natural or Ayurvedic route towards skincare.

The product label states that the Forest Essentials Light Hydrating Facial Gel Pure Rose Water belongs to their hydrating gels range of facial care products. These hydrating gels are light, cool facial gels to soothe and moisturize your skin while removing blemishes and dark spots. 

Authentic Ayurvedic Formulation: This light, cool facial gel incorporates pure Rosewater with Cucumber and Aloe Vera gel to soothe, refresh and moisturize the skin. Highly emollient Plum fruit extract supplies additional nourishment, leaving the skin luxuriously pampered and radiant.

These light, cool facial gels contain Aloe Vera Juice which has strong soothing and moisture retaining properties, blended with nutrient rich Wheat Germ extract and floral waters.

Directions: Use a small amount as a light moisturizer in the day after cleansing and toning.

Packaging: Forest Essentials products are well known for their luxurious packaging. This rosewater gel comes inside a neatly packaged box (sadly lost it). The jar looks like it is made of glass but it actually is some sort of clear plastic. It has a screwable golden lid on top. The packaging is travel friendly

My Experience :

I have used it as a makeup base and toner cum moisturizer in the morning, and it works beautifully as that. My skin does not get oily using it even on the days that I apply a thick layer of this rose gel. It is so lightweight that I do not even feel like I have anything on my face.

Pros of Forest Essentials Light Hydrating Facial Gel Pure Rose Water  

1) Leaves skin soft and supple after using this.

2) When stored in a refrigerator for half and hour and then applied on the face it gives me a very soothing feeling on the skin.

3) Skin feels hydrated after using this.

Cons of Forest Essentials Light Hydrating Facial Gel Pure Rose Water

1) Pricey for rose water gel. 

2) Not travel friendly.
